Steel sheets

HOT ROLLED THICK PLATE (LTG)

Also known as LTG, thick plate is supplied in the form of sheets and is produced through discontinuous rolling (sheet by sheet) according to the EN 10025 standard. This product has exceptional qualities, including superior strength and durability.

Areas of use:: It is used in high-stress areas as it can withstand heavy loads and stress without bending, deforming, or breaking. Thick steel plate can be used in outdoor and marine conditions due to its strong resistance to corrosion. It is commonly used in heavy industries (shipbuilding, mining), industrial and civil construction (metal structures), green energy (wind turbine constructions), pressure vessels, etc.

Range:
Thickness: 4 ... 200 mm
Width: 2.000 ... 2.500 mm
Length: 6.000 ... 12.000 mm
Common grades in stock: S235JR+AR, S275JR+AR, S355J2+N, C45, P235, 265, 295GH, P355GH
Delivery conditions: AR, N, M

Additional services: Cutting and Ultrasonic Testing

HOT ROLLED THIN PLATE (LBC)

Also known as LBC, hot-rolled black plate is supplied in the form of rolls or sheets and is produced through continuous rolling according to the EN 10025 standard.

This product has multiple qualities, including:

  • Competitive price that ensures cost control.
  • Remarkable workability, recommended for efficiency in the manufacturing process.
  • Strength and durability.

Areas of use:: Heavy industries (construction, railway, automotive), industrial construction, heavy and industrial machinery, metal structures, welded structures, metal fabrication, pressed parts, machine and equipment support structures, load-bearing sections, tubes, shipbuilding, storage compartments, various structural applications, containers, pressure vessels (boilers, pressurized vessels, gas cylinders).

HOT ROLLED CHECKERED PLATE (TGS)

Also known as TGS, checkered plate is supplied in the form of rolls or sheets and is produced through continuous rolling according to the EN 10025 standard.

Advantages:

  • Slip resistance
  • Good wear capacity
  • Self-draining surface.

Types of checkered plate: diamond and tear drop.

Areas of use:: Heavy industries (transportation, mining, construction, shipbuilding, automotive); it is used for anti-slip purposes and is essential for the paving of industrial spaces, bridges, stairs, and fences, as well as for mining and processing facilities. It covers vehicle floors, cars, platforms, ships, pedestrian crossings, and ramps.

Range:
Thickness: 3 ... 10 mm
Width: 1.250, 1.500 mm
Length: 6.000 mm
Common grades in stock: S235JR+AR, S355J2+N
Delivery conditions: AR, N

COLD ROLLED PICKLED SHEET (LBR)

Also known as LBR, it is the sheet obtained through cold rolling.

Pickled sheet is obtained by rolling and successive pressing of coils to be thinned by special rolls. The entire process is carried out at a temperature below the recrystallization temperature (transition from solid state to malleable/processable state) and continued until the desired thickness is achieved. Cold rolling greatly reduces the thickness of the processed material, resulting in significantly thinner thicknesses compared to hot rolling, with much stricter thickness tolerances.

Electromagnetic properties:

Being cold-rolled, pickled sheet has excellent formability (processability) and weldability. It has a superior surface quality and much stricter dimensional accuracy.

Protecting cold-rolled pickled sheet:

To protect against rust, a thin oil film is applied to the pickled sheet, which is easily removed when used. Additionally, the pickled sheet can be pre-painted, painted, or galvanized.

Before applying any protective coating, the sheet must be thoroughly cleaned across its entire surface using a solvent or alkaline solution.

Areas of use:: Automotive industry, civil and industrial construction and design, metal fabrication, household appliances, roofing, metal furniture, radiators, small profiles, storage or pressure containers, panels, agricultural machinery, parts and assemblies, metal fabrication (industrial and commercial shelves, stamped tubes, bent products), advertising signs, household items, ducts, storage shelves, various metal structures, consumer products (appliances, refrigerators, kitchen ovens, boilers, sinks, casings), machinery parts, tile-like sheets, etc.

Range:
Thickness: 0,8 ... 3 mm ;
Width: 1.000, 1.250, 1.500 mm
Length: 2.000, 2.500, 3.000 mm
Common grades in stock: DC01 ... DC07
